Scary Movie 4

More obscure movie quote!

"There's always something on everybody. Man is conceived in sin and born in corruption. He passes from the stink of the didie to the stench of the shroud. There's ALWAYS something."

All the king's men.

But is this the 1949 or 2006 Sean Penn version?

Personally I enjoyed Broderick Crawford better.

Had to read the book in high school and watch the '49 version in snippits.

"Although, so far there's no known treatment for death's crippling effects, still everyone can acquaint himself with the three early warning signs of death: one, rigor mortis; two, a rotting smell; three, occasional drowsiness."

Wow wow!
Obscure movie v2.o!

I'm surprised you know of Kentucky Fried Movie.
Twas from the 1949 movie.

Honestly, I hated that book.
It was so freaking boring and was hardly a novel but read like a philosophy textbook. Not to mention the characters were all boring and the narrator was an egotistical sexist who also happened to be misanthrope.

"Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves? Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here? Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?"

It's because I own Kentucky Fried Movie as well as Kelly's Heroes. Nice tie-in to DH btw. Oddball aka Donald Sutherland is good, but it really did have a stellar cast. Dirty Harry, Don Rickles, Gavin MacLeod, and even Telly Savalas (w00t). Another great but oh so bad movie that should have been MST3K'ed is Enemy Mine. Louis Gossett Jr. as a pregnant alien??? Of course it should have!

Jerry: "It is not longer my life that matters. I am not fat, I am not lazy. Davidge... I await a new life."
Davidge: "A new life? From where?"
[Jerry uncovers his abdomen]
Davidge: "Oh, my God... Oh, my God, are you telling me you're pregnant?"

Come on, that's great stuff there!

And since you answered your own movie, I get to go.

"How's it feel to be on the front page of every newspaper in the english-speaking world, even though the other side denies the incident? Congratulations."
