Nope >< My xbox360 started refusing to play games about a week ago. It gives me an error saying "please insert this disk into an xbox 360 game console". Searching around it appears to be a fairly common problem, possibly 'stuck' in dvd mode, possibly a corrupted memory file, etc.

I'm almost happy about it though as it gives me a good excuse to get a PS3, I'll probably wait till around Christmas to pick one up w/ff13. Xbox360 is honestly the worst system I've ever owned. I never finished a game on it(to give an idea of how little its been played), had it repaired once for free, and it's just shoddy the way the covers for the USB ports flap in the breeze as they've lost their springs or the way the disk will often continue to spin in the tray as I open it. It's now my full time dvd player so I can watch stuff while playing ffxi ^^

Yeah. I was not even planning to get 13 originally (didn't like 12 that much), but I saw it coming out on the PS3, watched some trailers, and you know how it goes.

Stupid 360's. I'm on my third right now, and it is currently serving as a coaster due to another case of RROD. Not sure I am going to bother with a 4th at this point.

Bout 4hrs in right now, ps3 version, taking a short break then going back to it. The beginning is watch cutscenes, press x for auto-battle, watch cutscenes repeat, but after awhile battles become more strategic.

Played for about 3 hours last night and did not want to stop. This is a good sign, as with 12, it always felt like a chore to me to pick the game back up, even early on.

It has been interesting for me, because this is the first new Final Fantasy game that has come out since I started to work as a game designer, so I am finding that I have a new respect for user interface choices and battle mechanics that they have added into this game.

Been neat all in all so far, and looking forward to playing more.
